Broken Flowers

I was in the grocery store the other day and happened to look into the "Video Blowout" bin by the check stand. I usually look through these just to see what kind of ridiculous movies they are selling, and I wasn't disappointed when I found Alien from L.A., starring that amazing actress/supermodel Kathy Ireland.

As I was sifting through the movie dross, I came across Broken Flowers, one of my all time favorite movies. Bill Murray is at his prime in this one, and I think I liked it even more than Lost In Translation. I especially like the ending, but I won't give it away for anyone who may not have seen it.

At first I was offended that this amazing piece of film making was sharing the bargain bin with Kathy Ireland, and then I was excited because it was only $4.99. I'm usually not one to buy movies because it seems silly to own them when you can rent them, but I put this one right in my cart because it was almost the same price as renting it, and I didn't want anyone else to think it was in league with Alien from L.A.

So, I'm looking forward to watching it in the next few days, and if you haven't seen it, you should. You can even borrow my copy.
