Untied

I took this picture the other day when Jack was trying to balance while walking along a curb. He is wearing no socks because he has gotten into the annoying habit of taking both his shoes and socks off whenever we get into the car, so we have to put them back on a few times a day. Since we were quickly running into the store, I skipped the socks this time. I just loved this photo because it feels like a perfect little snapshot from childhood.
