Well, I'm very happy to report that the kitchen is coming together. Right now I am trying to sort out where to put glass cabinet doors in the scheme, and here are the two I've come up with (thanks to my architect for the drawings):
Scenario one, keeping all similar shaped cabinets with glass fronts. I like this because the oblong cabinets mimic the shape of the glass tile, but then I worry about being too matchy-matchy:
Then there's this scenario, where we just do glass fronts on the three square cabinets over the sink. I like this because it avoids the matchiness, and I may even like less of them:
I really like both for different reasons, so I want some opinions. Please leave me a comment and tell me your opinion. You can even tell me to do something completely different, but really, why would you want to do that to me?

You may have already made a decision on this but here are my thoughts. I tend towards the three square above the sink. I also like the idea of doing the just the two with the horizontal doors on the sink wall without doing the two on the sides of the cooktop.
