My New Favorite Toy

For anyone looking for a great toy for Christmas, check out my new favorite we bought in Paris, My Big Fishing Box by Vilac. I bought it primarily for Jack, but we have all been enjoying it. The basic premise is to fish for pieces that each have a point value, and whoever gets the most points wins. To make it a little more challenging for Max we sit where we can't see in so we don't know which fish we're getting, for Jack we just let him look. It's simple, but lots of fun, and so cute. I think this will be a favorite for a long time.

And when Jack is tired of playing the game, the fishing poles and a Pellegrino bottle are a great medium for a modern art piece.

And another great European find I imported in my suitcase is the shirt Jack is wearing from Filou and Friends, a Belgian children's clothing company I discovered in Bruges.
